Our commitment

El Yad Harutzim Ltd considers it important to make its website accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility level

The site was built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA.

What we have done on the site

• A hierarchical heading structure, labelled navigation areas and a "Skip to main content" link.
• Full keyboard navigation, including the language selector, with a clear focus indicator.
• Alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
• Adapted for phones and tablets, with support for browser zoom.
• Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
• An accessibility menu (the round button with the accessibility symbol, at the bottom left of every page), which includes: Accessibility profiles in one click (visually impaired, seizure safe, ADHD friendly, cognitive disabilities, keyboard navigation); Navigation adjustments (keyboard navigation, text read aloud, reading guide, large cursor, stop animations); Color adjustments (monochrome, dark contrast, bright contrast, low saturation, high saturation, invert colors); andContent adjustments (text size in three levels, text spacing, readable font, highlighted headings and links, hide images, text alignment). Your choices are saved and kept on every page and on your next visit.

Limitations

Some of the content on the site consists of scroll-driven animations and a silent opening video. They are decorative, and the information they show also appears as text on the site. You can stop the animations and the video with "Stop animations" in the accessibility menu.

The brand wall is shown as an image, and the names of all the brands appear in its alternative text.

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. If you come across a problem, we would be glad to hear about it and fix it.

How the site was tested

The site was tested in Chrome, in desktop and mobile views, with keyboard navigation, and with an automated check (axe) against WCAG 2.1 level AA, which found no issues.
