In short

What information is collected

Information you give us

When you contact us through the contact form, by email or by phone, we receive the information you chose to provide: name, phone, email, company name, company website and registration number, job title, subject of your enquiry and its content. On the form, the fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to handle your enquiry.

Technical information

As on any website, the servers that deliver the site log basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and time of access. This information is collected by the hosting and delivery providers (see "Who receives the information"), and we do not use it to identify individuals.

Information stored in your browser

The site stores your accessibility choices and your cookie choice in your browser, to remember them on your next visit. The information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Details in theCookie policy.

Why we use the information

• Responding to your enquiry and providing price quotes.
• Opening a trade account and managing our business relationship, orders and deliveries.
• Meeting legal obligations, such as tax, import and record-keeping requirements.
• Keeping the site secure and running properly.

We will not send you advertising unless you have explicitly agreed to it, in accordance with section 30A of Israel's Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law. You can ask to stop receiving such messages at any time.

Are you required to provide the information?

You are not required by law to give us personal information, and doing so depends on your will and consent. However, without basic contact details we cannot get back to you and handle your enquiry.

Who receives the information

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is passed on only as far as necessary, to:

• Service providers working for us: the company's email service, GitHub (site hosting), Cloudflare (cdnjs, delivering code libraries the site loads) and FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards enquiries from the contact form to our mailbox. These providers process technical information or the content of correspondence only to provide their service.
• Transaction partners, such as shipping, customs and insurance companies, when needed to carry out an order you requested.
• Authorities, when required by law.

Some providers operate outside Israel, so information may be stored on servers abroad, in accordance with Israel's Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations.

External services

Clicking the email button opens Gmail, clicking the address opens Google Maps, and clicking a social network icon opens the company's page on that network. From that moment, use is subject to the privacy policies of those services.

How long we keep the information

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, and for the period required by law, for example for tax and accounting. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Information security

We take reasonable measures to secure information, in accordance with Israel's Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, including limiting access to the staff who need it and using secure services. However, no system is completely immune.

Your rights

• Access: to see the information held about you (section 13 of the Law).
• Correction and deletion: to ask to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date (section 14 of the Law).
• Opting out of mailings: to ask not to receive marketing messages.

Requests: info@elyadharutzim.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, you can contact Israel's Privacy Protection Authority.

Residents of the European Union and the UK

If you contact us from the European Union or the UK, we process your information under the GDPR on the basis of your consent, the performance or preparation of a contract, our legitimate interest in managing the business relationship, and legal obligations. You also have the right to restrict processing, to object to it, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. Israel is recognised by the European Union as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Minors

The site is intended for businesses and not for minors. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.

We may update this policy. The updated version will be published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
